A new kitchen
Helping Hands are installing this whole kitchen at the DCC. An amazing job, and it will make feeding everyone a great deal easier.

Grass at the new centre
We have installed the grass at the new facility. The play area now has something soft underfoot instead of bare ground.

Trees from Hills Tree Co.
Hills Tree Co. donated trees to the centre and helped us get them into the ground. Thank you — they will be giving shade to the children here for many years.

Lettuce from Ezulwini Farm
A donation of cos lettuce from Ezulwini Farm, through Wickhams, for salads at the centre. Fresh vegetables are hard to come by for many of our families.

Mandela Day blankets
For Mandela Day the children handed out blankets to elderly neighbours around Sakhelwe. The blankets were knitted by Patricia, some of our youth, and a lady from the community.

Sanitary packs
Sanitary packs donated by Helping Hands and Elohim Bible Church for the children, made up with pads, soap, deodorant and toothpaste.

Homework at the centre
Homework help every weekday afternoon. The children spread out around the tables with their workbooks, and there is always someone on hand to help.
